Why Choose (and trust) HueFertility?
When we say HueFertility delivers lab-grade results in your hand, we don’t expect you to just take our word for it — we show the data.
The chart below compares the HueFertility Ovulation Test to the gold-standard ELISA laboratory method using certified WHO reference materials (81/535). Three leading over-the-counter ovulation brands were also tested under identical conditions.
The Gold Standard
ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is the same method used by clinical laboratories worldwide. It’s the benchmark for hormone testing accuracy — providing exact, quantitative values in milli-international units per milliliter (mIU/mL).
Our mission has always been to bring that same level of precision to your home — without bulky readers, mail-in kits, or vague “high” and “low” results.
HueFertility uses only your smartphone camera and our patented AI-powered colorimetric technology, delivering ELISA-level accuracy at a fraction of the cost of lab testing or hardware-dependent systems.
What the Data Shows
To evaluate accuracy, three serial dilutions were prepared using the certified standard reference material for luteinizing hormone, pituitary (NIBSC, WHO 81/535). Duplicates of each sample were tested with every quantitative method — ELISA, HueFertility Ovulation, and each competitor kit. Results were recorded and plotted against the calculated concentrations based on the reference material datasheet.
The black line in the graph represents ELISA’s lab-grade results — the true calculated hormone concentrations.
The dark purple line — HueFertility — nearly overlaps with that black line.
When the lab measures LH at 10, 20, or 40 mIU/mL, HueFertility reports nearly the same values directly from your phone.
By contrast:
Competitor 1 (green) consistently underestimates LH levels, often reading half the true value.
Competitor 2 (lavender) shows irregular behavior — overshooting at low concentrations and flattening at higher ones.
Competitor 3 (blue) compresses all results into a narrow range, making true surges difficult to detect.
These differences aren’t minor — they can completely change ovulation timing or obscure underlying hormone patterns.
Only HueFertility maintains a linear, proportional relationship with ELISA, the hallmark of true quantitative accuracy.
No Hardware. No Guesswork. No Hidden Costs.
Where other “smart” fertility systems depend on expensive reader wands and proprietary devices, HueFertility works entirely with your smartphone.
No external hardware.
No complicated setup.
Just a HueCard, a test strip, and our AI-powered colorimetric technology.
That makes HueFertility not only more accurate, but also far more cost-effective — putting true lab-grade testing within reach for every household.
Built for Today — and Tomorrow
Right now, HueFertility measures luteinizing hormone (LH), the key hormone that triggers ovulation.
But this is just the beginning. Over the next several months, we’ll be expanding to include estrogen, progesterone, and FSH — providing a full hormonal picture of the menstrual cycle, from follicular phase to luteal phase.
Each new assay will undergo the same rigorous validation against ELISA standards before release.
A Note on Comparing Results
If you’re comparing HueFertility to a lab test, it’s important to keep in mind:
Timing matters: Samples must be taken at exactly the same time for a valid comparison — hormone levels fluctuate hourly.
Lab quality matters: Not all labs use ELISA-based or traceable-to-WHO-standard methods (the true gold standards). If the lab’s method isn’t validated or standardized, results will differ.
Sample handling: Variations in how samples are collected, stored, or processed can also affect results — something no at-home or lab test can fully control.
When these factors are accounted for, HueFertility demonstrates consistent and reliable alignment with certified laboratory methods — unmatched among other at-home options.
Transparency You Can Trust
We publish our validation data — because you deserve to see how your results are measured.
No other fertility brand provides this level of transparency or scientific rigor.
HueFertility isn’t just “accurate.” It’s lab-grade accurate, cost-effective, and reader-free — proven by data, not marketing claims.
